Original UFO
The Original UFO is an improved prefabricated night splint designed to provide effective relief for Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendinitis. By applying a Low Load Prolonged Stretch (LLPS), this splint promotes gentle stretching, healing, and re-modelling of soft tissues in the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon. This helps reduce inflammation, pain, and tissue shortening while breaking the cycle of injury, discomfort, and re-injury that often occurs overnight.
Featuring a simple, adjustable dorsiflexion design, the Original UFO allows patients to quickly and easily control the amount of stretch for maximum comfort and pain relief. The adjustable bilateral dorsiflexion assist straps ensure tailored support, while the CoolFoam™ replaceable liner wicks away moisture to improve hygiene and comfort during wear. The universal design fits either left or right foot, with paediatric sizes also available.
