Fast Fit® Cricket
The Fast Fit® Cricket is a prefabricated maximum-support foot orthosis designed specifically for children presenting with mild to moderate pronation or supination. Developed to improve stability, alignment, and gait efficiency, the Cricket combines a deep heel cup, a fully contoured plantar surface, and medial and lateral forefoot containment within a stable outer foundation.
Its sub-malleolar UCBL trimline allows the orthosis to sit discreetly inside everyday footwear while maintaining effective control of foot position. The partial wrap inner liner is manufactured from a soft, thin polyethylene material that cups the heel, supports the arches, and helps contain the midfoot and forefoot without extending above the shoe line.
The Fast Fit® Cricket is suitable for children who exhibit a fully correctable foot position, experience mild to moderate gait instability, or may benefit from enhanced sensory feedback provided by a fully contoured footbed. The design also allows for unrestricted dorsiflexion and plantarflexion, promoting a more natural gait pattern.
Available in a range of prefabricated sizes, the Fast Fit Cricket is selected using the Fast Fit sizing jig and can be adjusted in a controlled manner to accommodate individual patient needs.
