Description

MKS® Paediatric Body Belt

The MKS® Paediatric Body Belt is designed to provide targeted support and stability for children experiencing lower back conditions. Made from semi-elastic bandaging material, it adapts comfortably to the body while offering reliable lumbar support. The belt features lateral reinforcing stays for added stability, a firm abdominal section with an easy-to-use hook-and-loop fastener, and a back pocket that accommodates a modular back plate if required.

By applying gentle circumferential pressure, the body belt supports the lumbar vertebral column and reduces strain on weak or irritated muscles. The firm abdominal component enhances stability, while additional tensioning straps allow for customised compression to meet each child’s needs.

Body Belts

Body belts, also known as lumbar orthoses or spinal supports, are commonly prescribed to provide structural support to the lower back. They help manage pain, limit harmful movement, and improve stability in patients with degenerative, postural, or injury-related spinal conditions. The MKS® Body Belt combines functionality with comfort, making it a trusted choice for long-term use in both clinical and rehabilitation settings.
