Formed over a decade ago, The MedFac Group has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality medical products that support recovery and improve quality of life. With experienced teams across the US, UK, Europe, and the UAE, we provide expert support to both clinical and private healthcare settings.
With over 150 employees across manufacturing, customer service, and distribution, our core brands—including Dr Aktive, Manosplint, X-Lite, Halo, Florence Paediatrics, and Kinetec—cover everything from NHS and hospital sales to physiotherapy, hand therapy, custom orthotics for children, young people and adults, and our own CPM devices.

As the MedFac Group has grown, opportunities for collaboration between brands have naturally evolved—most notably between Halo Medical and the newly acquired Florence Paediatrics.
Florence Paediatrics brings specialist paediatric orthotics expertise, strengthening MedFac’s presence in the orthotics space. To support both brands while uniting their shared capabilities, MedFac Orthotics was established as a collective voice for wider orthotic services.
When needed, Halo Medical and Florence Paediatrics continue to stand alone—each showcasing their unique strengths and specialist focus.

Halo Medical has a long-standing history of delivering high-quality orthotic care across both NHS and private settings. With a team of expert Orthotists and advanced manufacturing capabilities, Halo provides tailored orthotic solutions for patients of all ages—from paediatric needs to complex adult conditions.
Florence Paediatrics
Founded in 1963, Florence Paediatrics (John Florence Ltd) has been a pioneer in specialist orthotic care for children and young adults, combining decades of clinical expertise with high-quality, custom-made orthoses. With a long-standing presence in NHS clinics and a dedicated orthotic centre in Sussex, the team continues to lead the field with precision manufacturing, personalised service, and a patient-first philosophy.
